4 stars charlatans remixed by Chemmies
If you're a Charlatans UK fan, you'll probably want to skip this. This single/EP is more of a showcase of the Chemical Brothers. It's remixes and such made by Tom and Ed of Charlatans songs. That said, it's pretty good. I mean, it's no DYOH, but it's good...I recommend it.

I don't know what it is about cd maxi-singles... often they're full of pointless remixes, and other times they've got nothing but sheer brilliance throughout the aluminum. This is somewhere in between.

The final two mixes of "Toothache" and "Patrol" are great stuff... and they ostensibly could have been put on one of the Charlatans' LPs without having to resort to the 'maxi-single' blues. The rest is fairly uninteresting, and it's decidedly not for die-hard Charlatans fans.
