Gang of Losers is the third full length album from Montreal band The Dears. It was released on August 29, 2006 in Canada under the Maple Music Recordings label and on October 3, 2006 in the USA under the Arts & Crafts label.

On July 10, 2007, Gang of Losers was announced as a finalist for the 2007 Polaris Music Prize, alongside such other acts as Feist, Junior Boys, and Chad VanGaalen. The winning album, however, was fellow Montreal artist Patrick Watson's album Close to Paradise.

5 stars Top Ten Albums of the Year
Since I heard The Dears were working on a new album I have been impatiently waiting to see how they could follow up 2004's masterwork No Cities Left. With the new and equally impressive Gang of Losers, this wonderful band from Canada do not recreate No Cities Left. Which is a great thing. The intro to Gang of Losers would lead us to believe we are in for a supersonic sounding album. 2 stars Gang of Losers Indeed
I heard a song on the radio by the Dears, and it sounded like Morrisey. So I bought this album. But this whole album is a bit of a snooze for me. Not very melodic or interesting. I guess it could appeal to some. But for me it was a very poor effort.
