Biography

Edit

In August 2006, Glasgow band The Fratellis suddenly became the talk of British indie-rock fans when they were featured in NME magazine and their second single "Chelsea Dagger" reached No.5 in the charts. Their debut album Costello Music was released shortly afterwards and hit No.2 on the album chart, and "Whistle for the Choir" also went Top 10. The band's success continued as they opened for The Who, and then had a song chosen to feature on an iPod TV commercial. They won Best British Breakthrough Act at the BRIT Awards in 2007, and later released a live DVD called "Edgy in Brixton".
