5 stars a breath of fresh air
I first started to listen to bluegrass almost 10 years ago and have run the gammut. A lot of the new 'jamgrass' bands that are popping up foresake the singing and songwriting so important to the genre. As strange as it sounds, I've been listening to more electronic music lately... but this album is absolutely a breath of fresh air. Beautiful melodies, harmonies, and fantastic playing. I'm almost afraid that Weather and Water will be a let down, but I can't wait to find out.

This album was a bit more mellow than I expected, although there are several songs that have a faster beat.
