Biography

The King Sisters started as a trio with Maxine, Luise & Alyce. In 1935 Maxine left the group and younger sisters Donna & Yvonne joined - making the group the first female quartet sister act. In the early 1950's Donna left the group and youngest sister Marilyn joined the group. In 1965 all six sisters sang together on "The King Family" television series and continued singing together in concert into the late 70's and on The King Family's 17 TV specials.
