  • The Standells, Larry Tamblyn, Gary Lane, Tony Valentino and Dick Dodd, appear in an episode of the TV series "The Munsters" called "Far Out Munsters" which originally aired March 18, 1965. The Standells, rent the Munsters' house to get away from the crowds. In the meantime, the Munsters stay in a dust-free hotel room. Dissatisfied with the accommodations they return to their home to find a party going on where the Standells perform the Lennon-McCartney song "I Want To Hold Your Hand".
