Children's entertainers, The Wiggles are one of Australia’s highest earning acts. The quartet’s output of albums, DVDs and concerts have proven popular the world over.
The Wiggles are the products of the fertile minds of former punks Anthony Field and Jeff Fatt. When their band, the Cockroaches, split in 1988, Field went into childhood studies, calling on Fatt to help him convert parts of their back catalogue into material suitable for young children.
They arrived at a ‘total’ approach to children’s entertainment, blending costumes, colours and movements. Having arrived at a successful formula, they have converted it into more than a dozen gold disks, a dozen platinum disks and multi-platinum album and video sales.
