Tony Fagenson (born Anthony Edward Fagenson July 18, 1978) is the drummer for rock band Eve 6. He was attending the University of Southern California and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity when he auditioned with Eve 6. At that time, singer Max Collins and guitarist Jon Siebels were looking for a replacement drummer. Although he went to USC, Fagenson was the only member of the band who was not born in California. A big fan of the Fox television show The X-Files, Fagenson was inspired to name the band Eve 6 after his favorite episode, "Eve". In the episode, there are many female clones named Eve; after Eve #6 made a remark about biting a guard's eyeball, he thought she was worthy of naming a band after.
Tony is the son of the Grammy Award winning producer Don Was.
After Eve 6 disbanded, Fagenson remained in the music industry as a producer. He worked with the band Malbec and contributed to the Puddle Of Mudd album Famous. Most noted are the piano pieces on "We Don't Have To Look Back Now."
In June, 2005 Fagenson rejoined former Eve 6 member Max Collins in the band The Sugi Tap. Together they played several small venues and released an EP. However, in 2007, Eve 6 reformed with the exception of guitarist Jon Siebels who was in another band at the time. Eve 6 are currently touring and they plan to release a new album in 2010.
