Borderline brilliant3 1/2Though the heavily cited RIO chamber-rock godfathers didn't turn out to be quite as essential as i'd hoped, their third album had reached an early peak of challengingly unique compositions that, when not steeped in exercise, ambient, or atonal mode, is capable of providing breathtaking orchestration.
