Biography

Edit

Vertical Horizon is an American alt-rock band formed in 1990. The current members are Matt Scannell, Keith Kane and Sean Hurley.

The founder members, Scannell and Kane self -released an album There and Back Again in 1992, and from this starting point went on to tour. A second self-released album followed in 1995, Running on Ice. In 1996, a live album Live Stages capitalized on their touring success. When the band signed with RCA, they released Everything You Want (1999); they also re-released the first three albums. Everything… was very successful, four singles were released, of which "Everything You Want" and "You're a God" performed well in the charts.

The release of their follow-up took a little time, with personnel changes at RCA resulting in the band moving to Hybrid Recordings. Go was finally released in 2003 by RCA, and re-released in 2005, with an extra track by, Hybrid.

A new album is expected soon.
