I happened upon Watashi Wa while at a show in Hollywood a few months back. I'd never heard of them and had no idea what to expect. When they took the stage, I was blown away. These kids were playing with passion. With heart and soul. *And there were only thirteen people in the audience.*

im not sure what this band is doin. (they call themselves eager seas now....whatever). but the bands lone cd under the moniker Watashi WA showed a fresh guitar driven approach which can get sadly undermined by the lame drumming and annoying by the numbers heart on sleave lyrics. GGGarth manned the boards......which is kind of weird when you finally hear what the band sounds like. but for the most part its a 12 track package of emo/pop tunefulness.
