Wendy Melvoin (born January 26, 1964) is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter, best known for her work with Prince as part of his band The Revolution, and for her collaboration with Lisa Coleman as one half of the duo Wendy & Lisa. Coming from a musical family, Wendy is a sister of the late Smashing Pumpkins touring keyboardist Jonathan Melvoin and the daughter of jazz pianist (and former NARAS president) Mike Melvoin. In addition, she is the twin sister of singer and composer Susannah Melvoin.
