This is a great reissue of Willie's 1971 RCA concept album, digitally remastered, with excellent liner notes, recording dates, sessionography, and orginal artwork. Producer Felton Jarvis defeated RCA's 10 track limit for the album by creating two medleys in order to include all 12 songs. Far ahead of its time, the album opens with a conversation between God and a soul preparing for birth.
