Biography

Edit

US born crunk rap duo Kaine and D Roc, perform as the Ying Yang Twins. They had a R&B/Hip-Hop chart top 20 with "Whistle While You Twurk" in 2000. While the single gave them a profile, it was the track they did with Lil' Jon, "Get Low", from The King of Crunk album that broke them. The track was a big hit in the clubs and TVT signed them for Me & My Brother. The album included another track with Lil' Jon, "Salt Shaker", the popularity of which helped take the album to platinum sales. A feat copied by the follow up U.S.A. (United States of Atlanta).

The pair were invited to join Britney Spears on "(I got that) Boom Boom" from her double platinum In The Zone album. Their subsequent releases have not sold as well as their highpoint.
