Profile Edit

Mahogany Rush is a Canadian rock band led by guitarist Frank Marino. The band had its peak of popularity in the 1970s, playing such venues as California Jam II together with bands such as Aerosmith, Ted Nugent and Heart.

Members have included bassist Paul Harwood, drummer Jimmy Ayoub, and guitarist Vince Marino (Frank's brother); the band has continued with other members, always under Frank Marino's leadership. After 1980, the group toured as Frank Marino's Mahogany Rush, and after Jim Ayoub left the group, it simply became Frank Marino. After a long absence, the band toured the United States in October 2006.
