Southern rapper Lil Boosie was born in Louisiana in 1983. He got his break when he teamed up with C-Loc, and performed on It's a Gamble in 2000, followed shortly by his own debut Youngest of da Camp.
He signed to Pimp C's Trill Entertainment label who partnered him with Webbie; together they released Ghetto Stories and Gangsta Musik which sold over a quarter of a million copies, promoted by the single "Give Me That", which featured Bun B. Webbie also appears on Boosie's album Bad Azz which had a Billboard Top 100 single in "Zoom" with Yung Joc.
In 2007 Boosie made contributions to the Trill Entertainment Presents: Survival of the Fittest album which debuted at No.14 on the Billboard 200. Lil Boosie is currently working with Young Jeezy, Brian 'Baby' Williams and Paul Wall on his next album, due for release in 2008.
