Lumidee is the R&B singer-songwriter, best known for her debut single "Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)". After the overnight success of her first release, she looked set for a big career. However, despite a top thirty chart placing in the US, sales of her debut album were disappointing and things may have been over before they had begun. She came back in 2005/2006 with reggaeton artists Speedy, providing vocals for his track "Sientelo", and with Big Mato and N.O.R.E. , when she worked on "Mas Maiz". Both tracks were hits, and she drafted in N.O.R.E. for her follow-up albumUnexpected. Casting her net wide for other collaborators, she has also co-opted Shaggy, Snoop Dogg and Jim Jones.
