Profile Edit

Born in Monticello, "Michel Mallory" only bloomed when he returned to his native roots (1986+), sang his Corsican-soul out, in a full voiced baritone (which he did not use in the hippie-'60s) and came to his epiphany (kneeling before God).

Herein Michel Mallory sings of not only of an Isle of Beauty, but, also of Corsica as a Christian nation, blessed in brotherhood as long as the nation honors Mary and Her Son, (he is especially devoted to the Virgin Mary).

His style has changed over the years, and since 1986 he has only sung songs composed by himself in Corsican. Many of his songs are autobiographical.

Though his present home is in Normandy with his second beloved wife, Nathalie and 5 children, his heart is still in Balagne. When he goes "home", he teaches "Corsu" (the particular Corsican language) at Corte University and other schools in Corsica, through the medium of song.
