Steven Halpern is the award winning new-age composer and sonic healer, whose albums are designed to helped people relax and unwind. After an early career in New York's mainstream R&B and jazz scene, he moved to California and turned his attention to the healing properties of music. He released his debut in 1975, the Chakra Suite's mix of new age synth washes and nature sounds are designed to create a healing vibe and have set the tone for a career which extends to a back catalogue of over 50 albums. With sales of over six million albums, amongst the most popular of which are Music for Sound Healing and In The Om Zone, Halpern seems to have found a recipe for well-being.
