Trevor Jones is well known in the world of movie soundtracks, having composed for many films including Around the World in 80 Days and Lawn Dogs, but he is probably better known for his work on fantasy films such as The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth. Born in South Africa, Jones moved to England in order to study at the Royal Academy of Music and by 1981 he had scored his first of over 50 films, Excalibur.
