hellogoodbye

hellogoodbye was started in 2001 by Forrest Kline, who began recording synth-based power pop in his bedroom. He was soon joined by Jesse Kurvink. The music they made finally found its way onto a fan-assembled EP The Parachute. Their fanbase was such that they began to tour on the basis of internet appeal without having released a studio album. For the tour they were joined by Aaron Flora on drums and Marcus Cole on bass.

The group was finally signed to Drive-Thru records in 2004. Soon they were releasing their official debut EP hellogoodbye and winning the MTV2 Dew Circuit Breakout contest, thereby extending their popularity. However Flora left the band after the EP and was replaced by Chris Profeta.

At last, in 2006, their first full studio album was released, Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!. An internet only remix EP called Remixes! followed later the same year, and "Here (In Your Arms)" charted in the US, the UK and Ireland.
