Overview Edit

Experimental music is made by musicians who try new ideas without knowing if they are going to work. It is a result of musical curiosity and creativity, and a reluctance to repeat musical styles or patterns which have gone before and are well established. Experimental music is by its nature more interesting than non-experimental music, but music is not always about cerebral interest, so experimental music commonly sacrifices aspects which might lead to commercial success.
